The National Alumnus Federation held the 2nd Session of the 5th member's representative assembly in Kaohsjung palace of Japanese food last Saturday (the 28th ) for warming up the 56th school anniversary. The event was held by president of The National Alumnus Federation, Chen Ching-Nan, and invited the school presient and Director of Alumnus' Service and also the dean of Resource Development, Chen Min-Nan. They decided to move the event to Lanyang campus hosted by Shu Cheung-Ron, the president of Ilan Alumnus Association and give the tour there next year.
With the most participants ever from the records, 85 participants in the event included presidents of Taipei, I-Lan Alumnus Association and members from 24 cities and counties in Taiwan. Chen Ching-Nan said, “this is the first time to hold the event in Southern Taiwan with many people from the association which is a great thing.”
President of Alumnus Association of Kaohsjung city, Chou Ling-Wen arranged a night cruise tour along the “Love River” after dinner. The next day (the 29th), they visited ' the special crocodile's ecological farm ' managed by the Alumnus from Department of Chemistry. They not only enjoyed the crocodile meal but also had a lesson of crocodile's ecology. Such an interesting tour, everybody said: “it was really worthwhile! “ (~ Johnny Chu )
