Since Department of International Business carried on plans of exchanging across strait with ZheJiang University last year, the plan runs again this year. 8 students elected from the Zhejiang University came to visit TKU for 2-month academic exchange on September 10th, and will return to China on the 10th November. 4 TKU exchanging students from Department of International Business will also finish 3-month exchange and come back to Taiwan in mid December. The exchange program is supported and assisted by both Special Projects of Academic Cooperation and the Office of Student Affair. '”The two-month program will fly by very soon. We really appreciate TKU’s teachers and students being very nice to us”, said Chi Ting, an exchange student from ZheJiang University. Kim Cha-Cha also said, “I got used to everything very well because Taiwan and Mainland are similar.” Students loved the Taiwanese food here. They gained some weight during the 2-month staying. Cheung Shu-Dong said,”2 classes are conduced in English only. It was difficult for us at first, but we got used to it now.”
The Department of International Business arranged a camping activity with Department of Information and Communication in Lanyang campus at the end of September. Chen Gin praise the beautiful view of Lanyang and students' enthusiasm, “classmates were curious about us. We had a great time for 2 nights staying in Lanyang.” This Wednesday (the 1st), it was interesting for them to have face-to-face interviews with the owners of enterprise for doing the homework “Investment and Management of Taiwanese Businessman ” for instructor Deng Yu-Ing’s class in the Department of International Business. They had further understanding about High-Tech Business in Taiwan at the tour of Hsinchu Science Park. (~ Johnny Chu )
