TKU will hold academic year 2004’s Conference on Teaching and Administration Innovation at Chueh-sheng International Conference Hall at 9 a.m. this Friday (October 22); about 200 will attend the conference.
The agenda of the conference, hosted by President Flora C.I. Chang and supervised by Founder Dr. C.P. Chang, is “Welcome Tamkang’s Fourth Wave.” Six administrative heads will give reports in the morning, including Department of Chinese’s Professor Fu Hsi-jen (“Reorganizing and Revitalizing Departments”), Assistant Researcher Hou Yung-chi from Center for Higher Education Research and Evaluation (“A Comparison of the Development of Employment System in Taiwan and USA”), Chair of Personnel Office Lo Yunn-chyr (“Reflections on the Establishment of a Flexible Employment System”), Dean of College of International Studies Tai Wan-chin (“The Development of Globalization and TKU’s Work for the Fourth Wave of Internationalization”), Chair of Center of Information Processing Huang Ming-da (TKU, Digital Genesis, Digital Migration”), and Chair of Graduate Institute of Futures Studies Chen Kuo-hua (“Strategic Thinking on New Generation”).
Two sessions of discussion on “Welcome Tamkang’s Fourth Wave,” moderated by Vice President for Administrative Affairs Kao Po-yuan and Vice President for Academic Affairs Feng Chao-kang, will be held in the afternoon. Round-table discussion, moderated by President Flora C.I. Chang, will be held one and a half hours later; two vice presidents will give conclusive reports on the group discussions and all participants will join the discussion.
