On the 28th of December, 2010, TKU overseas-Chinese student Liang Zi-heng, was awarded first prize in the Macau Drama Script Writing Contest. His script, entitled “The 114th day of the journey; the 26th story”, finished first among 20 such scripts, and earned him MOP $7,000 (approximately NT $28,000).

The script tells the tale of a young man who, in order to live out his dream, travels the world by bike. During the journey, he meets a series of setbacks and crises, but persists to eventually realize his true ambitions.

Zi-heng voiced thanks to his friends in Macau, for continually encouraging him to write scripts. “While in high school, I did a bit of acting in the school drama club. In the end I found I actually preferred writing scripts”.
