TKU Signed a Strategic Alliance with Oneworld Hanxin College to Encourage Students to Engage in Interdisciplinary Learning
On December 6, our school and Malaysia's Oneworld Hanxin College, represented by President Huan-Chao Keh of Tamkang University and President Tan In Fong of Oneworld Hanxin College, signed a strategic alliance agreement at the Hsu Shou-Chlien International Conference Center. The agreement aims to foster talent development and exchange between the two schools. Vice President for International Affairs Hsiao-Chuan Chen, Dean of the College of Liberal Arts Huei-Chun Chi, Dean of Academic Affairs Tzong-Ru Tsai, Chair of the Department of Mass Communication Mingyu Yang, Chair of the Department of Information and Communication Hui-Ju Lai, CEO of Oneworld Hanxin College Tan Seok Kar, Vice President Koh Ea Boon, Director of International Affairs Ng Kit Wah, Head of Academic Affairs Koh Siang Chai, and Head of Student Enrolment Li Sing Yii were among the participants.
Independent Learning Achievements Joint Exhibition by General Education Center, Crossing the Boundaries of Teaching and Learning
From December 4 to 8, the Center for General Education and Core Curriculum held a week-long "Independent Learning Achievements Joint Exhibition - Crossing the Boundaries of Teaching and Learning." The opening ceremony occurred on December 4 in the Black Swan Exhibition Hall, hosted by Pin Huei Wu, a senior from the Department of Information and Communication, and Hao-Yun Fan, a junior from the Spanish Department. Academic Vice President Hui-Huang Hsu, Dean of the College of Science Tzenge-Lien Shih, Dean of the College of Engineering and AI Innovation College, and Precision Health Management College Tzung-Hang Lee, Dean of the College of Foreign Languages Wan Bau Wu, Dean of the College of International Affairs Cheng-Hao Pao, Dean of the College of Education Kuo-Hua Chen, Dean of Student Affairs Shih-Jung Wu, and Prof. Rui-Mao Huang, Head of the Social Practice Strategy Section of the Sustainability Center at our school, were among the faculty and students who participated in the event.
Green Future Campus Tour Guides Participants to Explore and Understand Tamkang's Energy-saving Facilities
Organized by the Center for General Education and Core Curriculum, with the collaboration of the Center for Sustainable Development and Social Innovation, the USR project "Tamsui Good Life: Creative Design Inspired by Mountains, Sea, and Rivers" action team, and the Department of Educational Technology, the "Green Future: Campus Tour" event commenced on December 5 in the Black Swan Exhibition Hall. Led by guides Rui-Yang Li and Yi-Ting Yu, juniors from the Department of Industrial Economics, and Yu Yuan Shi, a senior from the French Department, the participants engaged in a walking tour to discover energy-saving facilities related to "SDG7: Affordable and Clean Energy" within the Tamkang campus.

2023 TKU Digital Transformation & Net Zero Transformation Achievement Presentation -- Introducing Tamkang Tiger Cub & Pioneering Microsoft Base
Our university has achieved remarkable results in digital transformation. On December 12, the Office of Information Services held the "2023 Tamkang University Digital Transformation & Net Zero Transformation Achievement Presentation" at the Taipei campus. The theme was "ESG+AI=∞" and "AI+SDGs=∞," aiming to share the university's digital transformation development strategy. The event showcased the application of the AI personal assistant, 5C Tamkang Tiger Cub, and included a forum on higher education digital transformation & net zero transformation. Additionally, the event marked the inauguration of the first Microsoft Base in Taiwan @ New East Gate Digital Empowerment Demonstration Field. Chairperson Flora Chia-I Chang, President Huan-Chao Keh, Director General of the Administration for Digital Industries Jang-Hwa Leu, President of National Dong Hwa University Han-Chieh Chao, and General Manager of Microsoft's Public Sector Business Group in Taiwan, Golden Eagle alumni Danny Chen, jointly unveiled the plaque for this initiative.
